Ever feel a little jittery after your morning cup of joe? Or maybe your appetite is a little suppressed after sippin’ on a milky latte. That’s where CBD can come in and help counteract the adverse side effects of caffeine.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a “drink at least four cups before 2pm” kinda guy. Turns out adding CBD with some of those cups makes your jitter juice that much better.

CBD and Coffee

Coffee lovers can enjoy CBD too – and, like coffee concoctions! CBD comes in many forms, so there is no shortage of pairing options. From smokeable flower and vapes to CBD oil drops and infused edibles. CBD can find its way into your morning coffee routine in no time.

Trying CBD with coffee could be one of the best decisions you ever made, especially if sleepiness is one of your CBD side effects.

According to a 2018 study, coffee also influences the endocannabinoid system, which, due to its stimulant properties, can actually suppress the intoxicating effects of CBD and THC. So, if you typically feel sleepy or tired after having CBD, try pairing your CBD with coffee and note how perky you’ll feel!

Another interesting note from the study was the difference between pairing coffee with smokeable flower versus pairing it with edible CBD. The real difference between the two sort of depends on your personal preference. Inhaled CBD has an onset time of about 10-15 minutes and its total effects duration is about an hour. Whereas, when eaten, CBD is processed by the liver and has a much longer lasting effect.

So, if you’re looking to CBD for quick relief with your coffee, reach for the flower.

Pairing CBD with coffee might just help your mornings get a little sweeter. Let us know how you like your CBD coffee concoctions on instagram!
